We are operating Two Hundred Sixteen (137 under VAB-NJ sponsorship, 31 sponsorship from Bangladesh and 48 associate centers) Computer Learning Centers (CLC) in the underprivileged areas of Bangladesh during last six years. These centers are operating smoothly, and are producing more than 1,500 computer literacy graduates every two months.
Computer Literacy Program: How it comes to life
You can adopt your favorite child-hood school or any other school of your choice as a CLC site by donating US tax-deductible $1,900 (One thousand and nine hundred) at one-third of total cost to VAB-NJ.
In return, VAB-NJ will furnish a turnkey computer lab at your chosen site consisting of:
* 4 new brand-name laptop computers
* 1 printer
* Other computer peripherals
* Structured curriculum
* Teachers’ guide
* Internet with 1-year prepaid fee
* Training of two teachers
* Incentive remuneration for teachers and a students who are assist teachers after completing each batch of training
* One-year maintenance contract
* We will also post up a plaque at the computer lab to recognize the donor and to memorialize a chosen person by the donor.
