Intel Establish Two CLCs through Solar Powered Technology

Intel establish two computer learning centers through alternative power solutions at:

  • Tenua High School, Purbadhala, Netrokona
  • Beraholdia Junior Girls’ High School,  Shaghata, Gaibandha

D.Net provided total 160 hours training to two teachers using  CLP curriculum, total 15 classmate PCs provided to the schools.  Intel establish those center as an experimental basis, based on the result of this experiment such low power consuming learning system will be promoted globally, particularly in Bangladesh.

The Holistic Approach of this program is to
  • Low power consuming hardware
  • Low cost solar power solution
  • Optimized software system for meeting classroom demand

For replacement of old  installation and for any new installation, such holistic approach may be applied both in private and public initiatives
