You can sponsor a center at your favorite child-hood school or any other school of your choice as a CLC site by donating US tax-deductible USD 2,600 (Two Thousand and Six Hundred) to VAB-NJ. In return, VAB-NJ will furnish a turnkey computer lab at your chosen site consisting of:
• Four computers (P-IV Compaq/HP, 2.8 GB Processor, 40-80 GB HDD, 512MB-1GB RAM, CD/DVD Drive, 15 inch/17 inch LCD monitor), keyboard, mouse and one printer, four UPS, and all other required electrical accessories
• Provide internet (wireless connection) with one year subscription fee
• Two weeks teachers training (11 days at Dhaka and 4 days in site) and a structured syllabus with teaching and learning guide
• Maintenance of the hardware for a year, site visits once a quarter to ensure smooth operation of the lab and all necessary support. From 2nd year VABNJ expects $300 ($ Three hundred) per year from the sponsor for maintenance of the center
• Teachers incentive stipend, Taka 1000 per teacher and Taka 200 per student assistant after completing each batch of training
• We will also post up a plaque at the computer lab to recognize the donor and to memorialize a chosen person by the donor.
